It was brought to my attention that my summer was just about over and I wanted to scream. Instead, we are making the most of it. My mom and Tom had the boys Saturday into Sunday. Andy and I went to a friends Surprise Party on Lake Meade! It was such a great time and a great way to celebrate 6 years of marriage. Time goes so fast.
I went down to stay at my moms for a few days and got in a lot of visits. I saw a friend whom I have not seen in probably 15 years. It was a blast and my boys were so sad to leave her fun filled out! They keep asking when we are going back. That evening we headed over to Pop-pop Bill and Mom-mom's house. The boys had a blast playing and laughing and acting like Hams infront of my friend Sarah. On Tuesday we had two play dates, one with Stacey and the girls and then one with my Cousin Jenn and her two little ones.
My boys were worn out but enjoyed every moment of it. We came back yesterday and they keep saying "who we going to play with next"? Luckily for them we met a friend at the park this AM and they had another great time. I have to get pictures off of my phone to get up on here! I am hoping to do that today or tonight!

Wow, I stink at this...Summer Update!
I have not been good with blogging, in fact, I am terrible with it. I thought I would try again, although with school starting in the next two weeks I am not sure this was the best time to start.
I will play a little catch up for just this summer.
We headed to OCMD for a week in June and the boys had a blast. It does get easier as they get older. We were even able to skip naps a few days and stay on the beach all day long.

The baby pool on the beach is a life saver. It keeps the boys happy and they can wash the sand off their hands any time they want.

After the beach came 2 weeks of swim lessons for both boys. Jason was potty trained enough to take the lessons, which was a big worry for me. Both boys did a great job. Ryan even earned his Baby Eagles Patch and then took the plunge off the diving board. I was so proud of him.
We spent some time hanging out with friends and family and then we left for North Carolina! What a great vacation we had. The boys get so much attention from everyone. They are the youngest by 13 years and they gobble up the attention!

While in North Carolina the boys got to go fishing with friends. They had a blast. They didn't get mad when they didn't get to hold the pole or anything but when the fish came in they would jump up and down and scream! Too cute!

Since we have been home from the beach the boys have had play dates, spent time at home and just enjoyed not being on a schedule. All of that will end too soon! Starting the 16th we are back to a full time schedule. I am not looking forward to it but the boys are since they both will be going to pre-school. Ryan will be going 3 days a week and Jason will be going 2 days a week. They will not be in the same class, which is a very good thing. They need to learn to be away from each other!

Hope to be back soon with more!

Potty Training
Well, We have been working with Ryan on going in the potty. I fight him every hour to get on the potty and once he gets on, he goes. So hopefully he will stop fighting and start telling me he has to go. Today he had on the same pair of underwear all day. I cannot believe it. And I can not take any of the credit. He was at his in home daycare today. She is so awesome. I know I promised pictures so I will put a few up. I broke my camera on Saturday so I am waiting for a new one!!!
These pictures are the boys birthday pictures!!!

We had a great time getting these done. The girl taking our picture did a great job with my boys. Not easy to get both smiling, looking at the camera and not wrestling!!!

Time Flies
So I am trying this again and hoping that over the summer I get into a good routine of putting information up. We had a good year. Jason has already turned 2 and Ryan will be turning 3 in about a week. They have been keeping us busy. Ryan ended up needing eye surgery this year and it went extremely well. He now wears his glasses without any problems. And although I know I am cursing myself, Ryan has actually had this pair of glasses for over a month. That is a record in this house. Infact, I bet the glasses shop is beginning to miss us. Jason is crazy as normal. He has a lot of energy and loves to be the first one up in the house. Both boys really love Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Jason is in love with Minnie, while Ryan likes Mickey. I need to get pictures up here, hopefully later today!

Cleaning
I am finding that there is always something that needs to be cleaned. Today we had our carpets cleaned. WOW! They look great and make the house seem so much cleaner. All the toys were loaded in the kitchen so I went through them and cleaned out and organized. These boys have way too many toys!
I took Ryan to My Gym today and he loved it. Each week he gets more and more into it. Today he was doing the motions to the songs they sing each week. This afternoon I took both boys back for a Free Play hour. Jason enjoyed it there today. Daddy met us there and boy did we have fun. It turned out we were the only ones that showed up so we had the place to ourselves. Ryan loves the TRAMPOLINE! Waiting for a turn is something Ryan needs help with. I will try to remember to take some pictures the next time we go.

Wow, long time!
I almost forgot that I even had a blog. Things get so busy that the last thing I think of doing is writing on here.
Summer has been going well. The boys do miss going to the day care every day so I am trying to get them there 2 days a week. When they are home with me things are good and then they decide to fight over everything. I thought they would be too young for that but I guess I was wrong.
The boys already had one vacation, OCMD. Ryan loved it! The first day or two he wanted to stay far away from the water but by the last day I had a crying child when he was taken away from the water. Jason wanted nothing to do with the beach. In his mind the water and the sand were the main problems. It is hard for me to believe because I am his mother and the beach is the best place on earth! Hopefully he will differently when we go to North Carolina.
We are headed to Exton for the 4th of July weekend. I am pushing the boys in a 5k on Saturday morning while Andy runs a 10k. I find it funny that Andy can run so well but as soon as he would have to push the double jogger, he can't do it. So I am stuck with it. It's okay with me, helps build arm muscles too. I really don't mind it when the boys are getting along. When they fight, I run as fast as possible to get it done!

This is the one smile Jason gave us on the beach, in a week!

Forever
I know it has been forever since I posted on here. Not really sure why except that I am busy. Anyway, things have been good. Ryan got his tonsils out Monday. He was doing really well but today we have taken a few steps backwards. He will NOT he or drink. He spit stuff in my face and says no to all food, which is very unlike him. We will keep trying and I am sure he will give in at some point. I need to get some new pictures up here soon
